I’ve got a ’91 Impreza and its got the mini bulbs that just pull straight
out. They are smaller and not as round. The replacement just pushes right
in. No twisting, no plastic or metal base to them either, just glass. The
same with the dash light I just replaced. There were plenty available at
the auto parts store. Just pull on the bulb and if it’s the mini-bulb type,
you’ll save a lot of time by not trying to figure out how to twist it out.
could you please do the video on the rear light!
Ahhhhhh, it’s so simple when you know how! Thanks! Now I just have to go
back to the folks that sold me a clear bulb and get the amber one as shown
in the video.
We currently do not have an auto repair video for the taillights on this
vehicle. If we end up making this repair in the future we’ll keep this in
mind.
Hey, Thanks. I have one that is loose, I now know where to look to fix it.
my 1997 ob has head lights that are one whole unit. Not two separate ones
like in the video. could i take ones of a 98 even though they are like
yours (two separate) and put them in the place of the one unit? Not sure if
this is clear enough for you to respond, but hope to hear back thanks.
In 97 the Subaru Outback Legacy had two different headlight designs. Here’s
a link to them on our website. Just copy and paste into your browser.
