Is it okay to put hose #8 through the lower overflow tank?
I agree with Andy a lot of stuu was left out , and it was only the more
complex steps. There is no way to get the hose from the intercooler to the
top of the block off without cutting the OEM hose or taking the fuel rails
out…. Honestly looks like laziness since there’s no way he could have
done that install that smooth
Did any one try to fit it on Subaru Forester 2.0 XT 2004? Is this is a
Prosper kit or should I use the 2006 and on?
Hi there, we appreciate the input. If you still need help identifying your
hose please send a picture to sales ‘at’ mishimoto ‘dot’ com and we’ll be
happy to help you figure it out! -Brian
Hi there, this will only fit the 2001 to 2005 WRX models. Thanks -Brian
They are awesome cars! -Julia
shoulda used red or blue hoses so we could see your progress.
is draining the radiator really necessary, seems like the reservoir only
needs to be empty.
Great car man, I want one soo bad! before i watched this video haha.
What about hose #9??? The one with the label (This hose requires non-return
valve to be inserted from OEM hose)…
It’s not necessary but will definitely make the process easier and it’s
also a good time in general to do a drain and fill coolant replacement. –

this wont work for my 07 sti?
ya I second Wankelcrazy..whats up with the hose that has the label for the
non-return valve? I like the hoses but the box is like a huge guessing
game..some kind of diagram would be nice to aid in installation Mishimoto!
If you follow the video, it should be a pretty simple install but that’s
not a bad idea about including some type of diagram showing the shape of
the hoses. I will relay that message to our team. Appreciate the feedback!
-Brian
When you removed the inter-cooler you forgot to disconnect it from the
turbo.
Just finished 2002 WRX… 1. Where is the hose with the tag, “This hose
requires non-return valve to be inserted from OEM hose,” supposed to go?
It’s not included in the video. 2. You omitted the connection of the
intercooler to the turbo. This connection was particularly difficult when
re-installing the intercooler. 3. The hose on the bottom of the reservoir
is ridiculously tight. Did Mishimoto spec the wrong diameter for this one?
4. The turbo coolant hose was too short and barely reached.
