This is the second video we shot of an Impreza and the connector was much
more difficult to disconnect on the first one. If you can get the filter by
without disconnecting the wire, that’s good as long as you don’t let the
glovebox put stress on the cable. We’re glad you were able to change your
filter!
Good video. NASIOC was were I learned how to do this but it only pics.
Good video, I just replaced my 2006 wrx filter for the first time. One
thing to add though, for the life of me I could not get the wire attached
to the white plug out of the socket. I was really really pulling hard on it
and it wouldn’t come out. Then I realized the old filter and new filter are
both squishy enough to just compress them around the wire and I didn’t have
to unplug it.
