In this video I bring you along as I do some routine maintenance on a 2011 Subaru Forester. I’ll be installing an Aisin Timing Belt Kit that includes all of the idler pulleys, the water pump and the tensioner. I’ll throw in a new thermostat to and show you some tips along the way that may help you working on yours.
-Enjoy!

Talking about taking your pic with your hoes and wiggling it hahaha play I like the channel
I have been pining after those sockets at 4:20 for months now but just can't quite bring myself to pull the trigger yet while I'm still looking for a new job.
I love all those little tips and tricks that you show us. Thanks man !
The Cam Pulleys are confusing as the one marked R is on the left facing the front of the engine, and the L is on the Right.
"Peacock"…. cracks me up every time!
2011 Foresters got the timing chain, so no belt change on those babies.
Even though it broke, I bought one lol that was the funniest line I’ve heard 16:17
11 foresters are chain drive. no tbelt.
You should be able to get this done, baring any issues in under a hour.
Believe – Romans 10 Chapter 9 : 10; 1 Corinthians 15 Chapter 1 to 4; The New Testament – Bible. Believe in Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ Is Lord and God, Jesus Christ Saves. Glory and Thanks to Lord and God Jesus Christ.
just use som e short battery cable for replacing the ground cable
better tip… take the radiator out… better be safe then sorry
you will have more room to work if u take the battery out and the washer jug
ifs not just Subaru.. all the team players are cheap with their plastic parts
that coolant jug was empty… might have more problems then not having any "go cool juice"
I've found that ordering some shop supplies to bump up the ticket value makes those parts stores deliver those small items quicker. Toss a jug of freon on it and they bring it right away. Usually I just add brake parts cleaner or coolant.
If you have a 2011 Forrester check to make sure it actually has a timing belt. My kid's 2011 Forrester has the FB25 engine w/ a timing chain. This one looks to be the EJ25. I guess Subaru changed engines mid year in 2011. Also has reconfigured cooling flow to the heads which, apparently helped with the problematic leaky head gaskets.
Jimmy Stewart, Joel McRea and Eric O. Three of my favorites to watch on the big screen
What are the locking pliers that you used on the hose clamps?
Are the subbies an interference engine?
