Dreamcast: A few times I got stuck on 7% during database scan. I tried it again with just a few games, and it scanned great (incidentally games that had no other characters in their names). I think it doesn't like the (-) dashes in my filenames. So I'm getting TOSEC DC games now, and looking at the folder filenames. I think it does not like _ (underscore) also in folder file names. Just mentioning the issues I have had. Love the MODES, they are so awesome!
Madlittlepixel, thank you so much for the informative videos over the years. I'm so glad your subscriber base has been growing so fast! Some have been promoting SSD's with the MODE (of which I bought two, one for my Saturn, one for my Dreamcast!) but YOU seem to promote the SD card route! For this video's comments, would you say 256gb is enough space to have nearly all the games on each system? I feel like it's ALOT of space, and while one couldn't get EVERY revision of each game, it would be enough to all of the games for the USA on each system, and many favorites from Japan!
I installed the DB files right but it won't add any covers… It says in the instructions that it uses the redump files checksum to add the covers, I have no idea where my CDI files come from… no way to add the covers manually?
The artwork has issues with Dreamcast multidisc games when grouped into one folder. Also the artwork db doesnt seem to like .cue files.
Anyone not pre-order the M.O.D.E. but recently ordered and received it? I pre ordered the site says in stock…. but I am yet to get it…. Didn't know if pre orders get sent out AFTER everyone else gets it 😛

The Japanese cover art looks particularly bad, being all stretched out to match the ratio of the US box art, and for a system where the Japanese library is gonna be where the bulk of the games come from…. Yeah that's a little gross
how do you load up your games onto this device??
Got the Fenrir because this didn't make sense, price wise, since my dreamcast has a GDEMU & it works great. Nice to see different options though

Looks too sluggish.. if I get one I'll think I'm gonna stick with the basic menu.
Too bad it loads so slowly on the Saturn, making it impractical to use.
