Hello friends, a question, I’m low tijuana california at your service, I
have my saturn 99 I also have problems with Transmit, aller remplase PLGA
of transmicion because it was axidada and worn remplase piercing point and
no longer enters the Piledriver, that may be, dpor help please
wow, what vidoe. Thank you. I have a 2002 Saturn SL 5 speed that is stuck
in first gear. The shifter seemed to bind up A little then shift fine now
it will not come out of 1st gear .Help
i have a 2000 saturn lw2 with a automatic transmission center console gear
selector what all do i need to get in order to change it over to a stick
beside the transmission and brake/clutch pedal assembly?

Ok I need help with my saturn 98 sl2 automatic I checked that plug seal is
no good and then unscrewed it there is tranny fluid all over the plug and
on pins what should I do.?

transmission or possibly junking my 1997 Saturn sc2. 1 more question. which
years and models are the same as my 97′ sc2 ?
What could be a common problem if my transmission is driving, but kicks
‘hard’ into second gear. At one point, I thought I smelt a burning scent
after the gear was in 3rd. I’m scared to drive my car any further and have
it parked until I can figure it out, please advise
Thanks for this, good info, I will check this as I get ready to reassembly
my car. I’m glad you mentioned soldering and heat shrink, I remember when I
was a kid and I used to twist wires then tape them… the cause of much
trouble. Sometimes I use self fusing silicone tape over the heatshrink if
under the car where thing are going to get wet as an extra layer of
protection.
You seem to no alot about saturn transmissions somebody tells me there is a
wire i can put a toggle switch in that will keep my sc-2 in 1st gear i race
this car and if i could keep it in first gear a little longer i have a
feeling my car would be unstopable if you could help i would be great full
thank you.
How do you test the voltage across the wires on the connector? I have no
first gear and already replaced the VB, no dice. I think the connector is
the problem. Anyway, should I just run the negative test lead to ground and
probe the wires individually? Also, the connector is filled with ATF, could
this be causing the problem?
Hello I have a 1997 Saturn sl1 and the acceleration is poor I have change
the spark plugs wires fuel filter oil I cannot find the problem I’m
thinking its the fuel injectors can you help me please
Glad I could be of help 🙂 Transmissions from 1995-2001 have TAAT
Transmissions. S-Series Vehicle Only MP-6 Transmissions are for SOHC
-Single Overhead Cam Engines MP-7 Transmissions are for DOHC-Duel Overhead

Yes Will work for a 93 🙂 A fluid change & filter may help as well 🙂 Good

All solenoids should be within 1 ohm of each other. F&G is where your
problem is at… 2.4 is a bad solenoid.. Get another solenoid from a junk
yard, but test it first.. 2.4 is your problem..
95% of all transmission problems in a saturn are the valve body. No need to
replace the entire transmission. Look at my other videos to test your valve
body 🙂
Would this apply to a 93 automatic SL. As far as the valve body being bad.
It has 190k on it. It feels like its slipping when starting from a stop but
once it gets moving it will shift to second and so on. Its just getting
going in first is the issue.
hi fireman ,so my 2002 saturn sc2 wont have a taat transmission?i have dohc
1.9 liter automatic . does my trans still use the same solenoids? i am so
hoping i have the same taat trans as this looks easy to do .i have 2 codes
coming up .po789 (shift timing solenoid intermittent) and po741 tcc stuck
open .i can get all 5 solenoids (reman oem) for 91.00 shipped off ebay .
Hi,thanks for putting that out there! I have a 2000 lw200. The thing runs
great,except that once its warm I get a wrench service tell.I don’t have a
scanner for the bcm. do you know of a reasonably priced shade tree mechanic
scanner that will? Or what might be causing this/ I have 730900 on the

Check the connector for melted plastic. If anything is melted, then you
will have to replace the connector.I have never check the voltage across
the wires but there are several on saturnfans that tell you how to do
it.Have you checked your solenoids at all ? if so, what are the readings ?
If filled with atf fluid, then a replacement seal will help. Some atf wont
hurt it.
Here are my taat readings A&B 5.8, C&D 5.6, E&K 5.6, (F&G 2.4-2.6 Line
pressure) ? J&H 5.8. Is the 2.4 i’m getting for the line pressure a good
sign that is my problem? Thanks again for your video’s they are very

Hello firemancv, Thank you for your video’s they are well done and very
informative. I’m having a problem with my 1997 sc2 that was running just
fine when all of the sudden it started clunking into 2nd ,3rd and 4th. I
replaced the tranny mount and dogbone mount and took it for a ride and i
was going 45 and it slammed into what seemed like reverse and now it goes
forward in reverse and nuetral even seems like its in gear in park. It
won’t shift out of 1st gear now . Do you think my tranny is shot
Yea, I miss the days of just twisting them together & using electrical
tape,lol These cars are finicky as hell when it comes to electrical
problems. I’m lucky, I got a junkyard at my disposal & can take anything I
want, anytime. I’m like a kid in a candy store.. You need saturn parts &
can’t find them, let me know 🙂 I have an advantage over you. These cars
don’t have a spot of rust on them. The underside of them, look as good as
the day they came out of the plant.
