Thanks for the vid. Love that you kept in the part where you forgot the plug wires. I just did a Ford distributor today and almost forgot to put the rotor back in lol. Shit happens.
What order do you have the wires in the sticker on the hood says different than the book that comes with the car
No lleva silicone
They trying to charge me 700$ to do this?
Great video! Thanks!
I have a 1999 Saturn SC1 that needs this repair. Thank you so much for this video! I'll be following it for reference when I replace my valve cover gasket in the spring when it's not -20 degrees here in Ontario, Canada.
Just replaced this on my '95 SL1 thanks to your help!
You da man! Thanks!!
Sooo… my bolt stripped AND they don’t sell replacements like anywhere online
Tried this and I couldn't get it to 22 ft/lb… One will hold at 10 ft/lb and the other sheared off! Pray for me, and if you're like me looking for advice, it's a 5/16" 18 thread bolt!
Dude thank you for keeping the music low enough to hear you! Most people I say not to use any because it's overpowering, but you put the work in! Just some recognition.
Awesome video, exactly what I was looking for
Excellent job! Well done. I just happen to be changing out the timing chain, gears, and the tensioners on my 2000 Saturn SL1. This is perfect because my cover had the RTV sealant and the gasket I bought is about the same as the one that you install in this Video. I was unfamiliar with this type. So happy that you did this video!
Love this but question, does the oil have to be removed
My Saturn sl1 is still leaking oil it is down by the crank pulley I already replaced the valve cover gasket
Oh man your old gasket peeled out so nicely. Mine is all melted into the grooves of the cover. Now what?
