Good job man! Thanks!
Thank you so much for this video. It is great to see the process before attempting it, especially since most of us looking will likely do this maybe once in the life of our cars! Again, thanks!
Ok you did the easy part but what about replacing the 10 dollar bushing
Thanks for your video, with your help, I was able to replace both lower control arms on my 2006 HHR in about 3 1/2 hrs by myself breaks included!
Please help, the bolt with the bad bushing (same as yours) was really rusted, after a bunch of PB blaster it finally came loose, but now the bolt is just spinning… I’ve spent at least 10-15 spinning the bolt but it has yet to distance itself from the metal. any ideas on whats going on here?! thanks
Is there a specific brand that you would recommend?
Thank you so much! I think I’ll try this on my car. Maybe the front end will finally sound like it’s going to stay together.
Thanks for taking the time to film this.
I just took my control arm off and had one hell if a time lining the button bushing when I was reassembling.. wish I saw this first
great helpful vidio.thanks!
Thanks
their now is an upgraded
bushing you can have pressed in its solid rubber now all the way around i got a set today and the hhr arm are lil different their solid aluminum and in Canada their 200$ plus and the better bushing are 12 each i did my complete arm 2 years ago and the bushings and the ball joint failed cheep parts suck so i have drilled out the ball joint rivets and put Moog ball joints in hard part is getting a shop to press the rubber pucks in but with arms out just find a shop
Awesome video editing bud. Perfect
Man I don’t know how you got that bolt off of the failed bushing so easily, you were really lucky, my friend and I changed the one on my cobalt and found that the center metal sleeve of the bushing was siezed to the bolt and we had to not only try to find a way to reach it with vice grips in it’s tiny compartment in the frame, but we had to heat it up with a torch to finally break it free, it was a pain in the ass even with air tools.
Thanks For making this Video I will now be attempting this
Thank you so much, You save me over $400 in labor fee.
“Dont even bother with that bologna.”
Yay great video!
Great job. My dad and I did this to my car today and used this video as a “how to”. Despite just a few issues getting the button bushing to line up, we got everything taken care of!
Thanks for this!
Thank you for making this video.
you make it look so easy brother, i wish i could do this myself on my 2003 saturn i may take a look but may not try it myself.
great tutorial by the way.
