Lol.. the feet aren't even stuck to the metal, and one of them is on top of the ribbon cable. Doesn't seem very secure, I'm having a hard time finding a good way to mount it into the same model Saturn.
Wow. My MK-80000 20 pin is very different than this on the inside. The power supply is attached to the top of the case, not the bottom, among various other differences.
I was going to buy this glad I didn't I can't even change my own oil in my car much less assemble that! Yikes!
What about the issue with those legs once they are installed a cartridge not fitting into the saturn any longer? I also wonder why we couldn't just make this fit on the existing legs. Seems odd since it would make the install much easier.
Does it work on all Sega Saturns?
My question is … Could you make a custom Dreamcast/Saturn hybrid with a single board and a custom 3d printed case??? Looks like it could be possibly done by stacking the Dreamcast on top of the saturn after watching both videos.

Just got mine in, installed it, with the ext power cable, works straight up. Super happy!
Booted a double disc pack Street Fighter Collection, MODE asks me nicely which disc I want to load, but then fails to load and goes back to the Saturn's OS. More testing later

Mine was about to ship, but, then they told me PO Boxes aren't supported… after I ordered it in April lol, but, oh well, got it sent to the main post office, so thats fine :D. Not sure how thats going to work with DHL though… guess I'll find out the hard way… again, long after the fact lol. Not the greatest shipping experience so far, but, fingers crossed it pans out, because I'd like to ordered the SSDS3.
Is the MODE ok to work with a replacement Saturn PSU, like a pico PSU and the similar clones that are available?

Looks like you will have to take apart the top cover every time you want to upgrade firmware or add games.
Installed my MODE in my gray Japanese 21 pin Saturn. MODE lights up, but wont boot. Saturn goes to CD player. Am I doing something wrong?

I’m still confused at the layout of the board. Can you get to the microSD slot without pulling the system apart? I’m trying to figure out how to update the firmware without disassembling the system each time.
Can i still install if i got a third party power supply?

This discord is toxic and their customers gang up on other customers and sometimes get Terraonion to bully those people too. Unprofessional if you ask me.
Later Model 2 21-Pin Revisions have a single PCB with integrated control ports (No Ribbon to controller ports). You'll have to remove two addition screws located on the power button. Done and done . Have fun!
Does it allow in game reset to go back to game list?
And…. I'm definitely gonna be using it with the Dreamcast. It's definitely cool that the option for Saturn is there, though!
