Additionally I do have other videos where others did ask for clarification (the Trans Temp sensor, rooting the GS4, and a couple others) and the differences between how this happened and the other videos is like night and day. they asked for clarification and help, and I was more than happy to help.
“you should be prepared for feedback when putting up a video like this.”
I agree, but it’s one thing to do like you did and point out specific flaws in a constructive, yet non-rude manner, which I thank you and I’ll add an annotation for it.
On the other hand, if you’re gonna drop statements like “if you went to an ASE school for this, it’s sad” and be a jackass and insult my intelligence, that’s another story and I will respond as such.
Either way, it’s been over a year since he responded…
Heads-up, I may respond in multiple comments due to youtube’s 500 character limit…
Now then. to address the video errors:
“Feeding the hose back through hoses and top of the tran and not leaving the caps on?”
You’re right, after thinking about this, leaving the caps on would be a good idea, although wouldn’t a vaccum take out any extra moisture in the system, regardless?
“It is certainly nice to see that it is relatively easy to do this job”
It’s a Saturn, they’re fairly easy to work on 🙂
He’s saying, that if you went to school for ASE tech training, your procedure wasn’t great. I noted along that line…Feeding the hose back through hoses and top of the tran and not leaving the caps on? Seems like I would leave caps on until just before pushing them in place. It is certainly nice to see that it is relatively easy to do this job but you should be prepared for feedback when putting up a video like this.
I know right…
What? Did your sentence mean anything?
As a technician trainer and ASE Master……..If you went to school…..it’s sad.
@whoodiestyle I know right!! but yeah, you can thank the SaturnFans forums and the richpin videos for inspiring me to go auto mechanics and make these videos 🙂
Cool video makes it easier seen it done before attempting it myself
