I don’t doubt it… I would imagine any modifications to a precision tool will have an effect. These are very low torque bolts, so I’m ok with being in the “ballpark” for this but that is a decision each person will have to make on their own. I’m glad you brought this up because I never really considered it before. Sounds like your teacher is a good person to listen to. 🙂 Thanks for watching and for taking the time to comment.

One of my teachers in school told me never to use extensions on torque wrenches as it will give improper readings.

Super, the most important thing I can suggest is to soak all the bolts repeatedly ahead of time. I’m on my 3rd subframe due to rust. Good luck!
