My manual told me to remove those little foam stops in the glovebox, but I tore one (they’re not very durable). This is one of those “I should replace this more often, but it’s such a pain in the butt” repairs. Much easier now that it’s on video.

Thanks for the video, my manual had nothing about the location or how to replace it, went to my local parts store and replaced in in 5mins.
Awesome video. For those who come here not knowing, some Ion manuals do not say anything about cabin air filters (part #, how to replace, air flow direction, etc). I only discovered its existence during a service appt – they replaced it for me. The filter they put in did not have an air flow direction indicator; thus, when I went to replace it myself today with a filter that does have the markings, I needed to know. I figured it was down but thanks for posting this video so I could be sure!
