How to Fix a Broken Rear Wiper Motor in a 2003 Saturn Vue V6 AWD

If your rear wiper won’t swipe off the snow or rain, it may be because it is rusted in on the inside. I disassembled mine and fixed it inside of an hour. You can Too!

I have a 2002 Saturn Vue (4 cylinder 2WD). My back wiper won't turn on, and forget the washer–if I try to run the washer I hear it trying to work, but nothing comes out. The back wiper stopped working mid-wipe and I managed to move it so it's parallel with the ground.

thank you so much for showing this video,,, I have an 18 yr old GMC Jimmy that the rear wiper motor started doing as you described in your video,, I did pull mine out today & noticed that the housing is cracked & all the grease oozed out of it,,, the arms on the wheels were rusted, so I imagine that it happened just as you said about the water getting in…. my question is,, what type of grease is in there– you used what was already in yourse,, but all of mine is gone– so is it plain white lubricating grease, or is it some kind of specialty grease?
