Car Fix DIY Videos

In this video we take a standard PS1 console and modify it with an Ali-express PSIO Optical drive emulator. We show the process involved in carrying out the mod and how to strip down the console.
We then put it all back together again and make sure it does what we want it to do.
This particular model PS1 is a PAL version, Model SCPH-5552.
The PSIO from Aliexpress comes with the PSIO cart, Switch board chip and wiring. The chip needs to be fitted first, To allow the PSIO flash cart to work.
You will also need a SD Card to place the games and the PSIO firmware on to it.

The Sony Playstation 1 is a home computer gaming console, Which came out in 1994. It is a disc based system, Which had main competition from the Nintendo 64 & the Sega Saturn.
This system had good success in the market and is one of the best selling consoles ever made.
