How-To: Changing an air filter on a 1998 Saturn

Sorry about a lot of the babbling but I did this in one take and I had a limited amount of time to record it. The filter was a little over $14 (tax inclu) fr…

I only needed to double check where my air filter was in my car, but this
how-to video was so good I ended up watching the whole thing. Funny! Nice
work!

Thanks for watching. =)

VERY GOOD BOSS. THANK YOU FOR POSTING!

CCAAASSSCCAAAA says:

I have no idea. It was a while ago. I did get them off ebay and the company
name is AMS if that helps.

@glethal85 Welcome! Hopefully through experience you’ll see that working on
these kind of cars isn’t terribly hard. The best part of all you can take
this knowledge to almost any car that you’ll own and save mucho bucks in
the process. HAPPY WRENCHING!

Hey my dude, i’ve got a Saturn and i’m just starting my ‘do-it-yourself’
career. This video certainly helped me save money. I’m gonna change my air
filter tomorrow, then change the oil, then put on a new Fuel filter, then
probably change rotors and brakes… There’s some work to be done.

Nat Stellar says:

Thanks for this. I love this. Short & Sweet. I’m changing mine today and
this was very helpful. So simple. I’m laughing because my car is the same
make model & color LOL!! Except yours looks much nicer than my clunker.

Darryl Wilkinson says:

thank you for this video!!

Omar Chisolm says:

how much u paid for the window sheilds?

ddoggphx says:

Dude, I wasn’t expecting it to be so simple, but I love how freaking
thorough you are with the video. I hope you have more of these for Saturns.
Also, go buy an old 2001 Jetta so I can watch vids from you too for that
car. 🙂

CCAAASSSCCAAAA says:

You’re very welcome!

CCAAASSSCCAAAA says:

I’m glad I was able to help. I don’t think my year saturn has a cabin
filter. The best you can probably do is search to see first if your car has
one. If it does, it should be fairly easy to find a walk-through or a video
which shows the steps needed.

CCAAASSSCCAAAA says:

@ddoggphx Thanks for watching and I’m glad I was able to help. I do have
some more videos on saturns posted. you should be able to see them on my
channel. On a side note, I’d never own a jetta unless It was crazy cheap or
free. VW’s are annoying to work on IMO =P.

CCAAASSSCCAAAA says:

@kar0l1n3 You are welcome.

dresdendeception says:

hey man, I really appreciated this video. I’m a girl that knows just about
nothing about cars but this made it really easy for me to change my air
filter, thanks. Next thing is I want to change my cabin air filter. Do you
know where that is on a Saturn? I have an SL2 year 2000.
