Subscribed, favorited, and now my only wish is to be able to give you a

When I check the inner rods by moving the tire, should I put the steering
wheel on lock??

Duane Schmidt says:

Thank you! You took something that seemed complicated in my mind and showed
me that it was actually a simple procedure. Sometimes a little knowledge
and seeing someone else do it gives us the confidence to give it a try. I
will be doing this same procedure myself in the next month or so.

Tye McClellan says:

Chris I need to do this on my wife’s 2004 Pacifica and I only have one
hand. I was born without a right hand. The way you explained this and the
camera work and the calm reassuring tone of confidence you used was
awesome. I know I can do this! great job and God bless you for your
kindness in sharing your knowledge.

Excellent video. Like the castle nut hammer method. Wish I would’ve tried
that. Might be easier than pickle fork

Dale Flud says:

My 55 chevy 2 dr. wagon needs this done badly and now I’m going to do it
rather than pay someone. I’ve done a lot of restoring cars and always
avoided front ends. Great video.

samone jones says:

Finally got the bolt of I had to use a electric saw to get it off. Now Im
having trouble with tie rod. cant seem to get turn it to get it off. So
will have my cousin get it off for me. I think I need some vise grips to
hold the inner tie rod bar to turn the outer. I’ll figure it out

Gerry Jamieson says:

Very nicely done. I like the clarity and lighting which makes understanding
what you’re describing easier. Your thoroughness is much appreciated as is
the lack of lame or rude jokes or swearing. Thanks

Thanks i will be tackling this job soon. 🙂

jonesgerard says:

Thats very similar to my old 1995 volvo 740, the inner rod end is peened
on, I used a pipe wrench to grab the inner rod end and just unscrewed it,
the new kit came with red loctite for reinstalling, otherwise same
proceedure.

It made sense to do both sides at the same time as it requires paying to
have the front end aligned anyway, why pay twice.
A good video like this would have helped me bigtime, theres no substitute
to seeing it done.

Papa Monster says:
