$1200 + a weekend….. probably get $5000 for that car now. Glad you were able to save it. It cleaned up great too.

First Last says:

Transmission work is fun if not pressed for time or trying to make money.

Mexican Spec says:

Mike, because that car has a history at that auction any buyer will assume the transmission is no good so you wouldn't get anything out of it there. Sell it retail and go on to the next one.

At least now you can buy all cars with bad transmission of that type and fix them and make bank.

K Ferg says:

Congratulations on your success and thanks to the guys that guide you on those tips

Thorald Shib says:

so proud of you, i remember how many times on this car you said you were ready to just send it to auction, only to actually get it running!

Jay's Mobile Mechanic Services says:

Thanks for the shout out Weird Beard. I'm so glad to see you got the transmission issue resolved. The key thing to being a good mechanic is having persistence, determination and patience. Let's just say I run into problems like this all the time out in the field. So i know the feeling and frustration we go through all the time. Now you can send it to the Sale and make some good $$$ on it.

Hey, I just realized about a month ago I got unsubscribed for your channel. No idea how but I have heard of it happening on other channels. You should get the word out for people to check thier subscriptions. Looks like I've got some catching up to do!

Douglas Tripp says:

Your attitude is inspiring!

Robert Merwede says:

I'm glad you got it fixed. Are you going to put a battery and fix the power steering?

Ez E's Rebuilds says:

Great job Mike! You teach me to have patience with my builds

Like It Or Not says:

That plate was probably missing because of the other extra steel they had in there. IE they prob just switched them up by accident. I know what you mean about batteries. Father in law got O2 sensor codes from a battery that was starting to die.

thetrucker10 says:

Woo hoo you did it..

Mark P says:

A W E S O M E ! It's great to see you put another car on the road. I had to fix an overdrive not working on a 2000 Hyundai Elantra. It is a great feeling to finally get the transmission to work.

Robert Smith says:

Cel light code ?

tigerseye says:

Mike: sell it from your home. The way prices are so high now for anything that has 4 tires, I think you can get an easy $4600 for this clean good running car. If you auction it, you are at the mercy of the best low bid. As I commented in your last video, I suspected the stack was too loose, and was hoping you would not give up on that old girl. You came through with flying colors. Your'e an inspiration to a lot of guys out there. I try to watch every one of your video's.

Talal Altimimi says:

it's always good not to give up happy it back on road. amazing work.

Douglas Martindale says:

I seriously hope you are punching in walls off camera on these projects, but your ability to maintain sanity is surreal!! Hope you make a fortune on the ol girl, you deserve it.
