most auto repairs involve brake adjustments and changing of brake pads.
best to know how when caught in between a situation. beautiful and
informative.
Well I be goddamn! Didnt realize how achievable the whole process was! Imma
go crazzay + change errbody in my neighborhoods brake pads!!
dont you have to take cap off reservoir to release pressure when u r
pressing in caliper mine was impossible to move without that
A great course on mechanical design of vehicles 🙂

I was trying to take the caliper out but it won’t budge. I can see a piece
of metal through the mid section of the caliper. I looks like a clip of
some sort. is this what is preventing me from taking the caliper out? I
didn’t see it in the video. I can make it swing up and down but it won’t
come out. The caliper I have has only one window in the middle, unlike the
one in your video that shows 2 windows in the front.
why did he put the old pad in there crank it then take it back out . what
does this do . looks like it did nothing. was something stuck in there and
he took it out.
Thank you so much mate..
@1:30
This video is not a good teaching tool to those who have never done a brake
job.
Ummmm, how the hell is that a redneck saying? You idiot.
@TheRosso84 that is simply a rachete

us back at ctf_tv@yahoo.com Thanks Eric
thanks mister… i dont know what that tool is called you used to compress
the piston but i use c clamps but that tool looks alot better!
@ATBparkour ya i didnt think so either,i didnt bleed them, they are alot
better now after using them a little more from when i put them in, but now
my rotors are shot, and make alot of noise! its always something with my
cars!!
@x3u93n3x note: do NOT let anyone touch the brake pedal while you have no
pads in the caliper. It will create a nightmare for you.
hahaha master tech, forgot to machine rotors, lube caliper pins & metal
contas and open caliper bleader when he push the pistons.
if you know what you’re doing why not save yourself a couple hundred?
can anyone pls tell me what’s the tool he’s using
fantastic!!
yea im nice with my hands ill knock this out!!
Secured nice and easy up in the air.. Lol its on a jack
You should never use a jack to support the car weight..
@STREETRACEN4U dont think you have to bleed the brakes just for the pads..
because no air locks can get in any pipes or whatever just from the pads
because its all a little exposed to air anyway.. i think, im only studying
mechanics, i may be wrong though..
Do you have a video on how to change and inspect drum brakes? I have a
grinding sound, not sure if its my drum brakes. thanks.
