7mm screws will take out the stereo for easy replacement
Sorry Amy7Wilcox, and others, I don’t have more videos. I sold the Vue
years ago and cant remember how the BCM comes out other than it slides
forward while you hold a retainer clip. The new BCM must be programmed so
work that out ahead of time. Know the exact fuel level before you program
the new BCM or the fuel guage will be off forever. I’m not a mechanic, just
made this video for fun a bunch of years ago. Glad it has helped people.

Thanks for the video. My switch is like starting the car, sometimes it
works other times it doesn’t. I knew it couldn’t be that hard to fix but
couldn’t figure out how to get the dash cover off.
@racefanran The body control module does store the mileage (odometer).

switch was intermittent (especially on the 4th fan speed) but now it’s 100%
non functional. I’ll try cleaning it first like you mentioned.
Instructional videos are one of the things that I love about Youtube. I
hate to think what a dealer would charge for doing this repair job so

Thanks for posting this! I was able to use it to remove the dash of my 2005
VUE to fix the caution light button that broke off and fell behind.

Thanks a bunch for this! I changed out the white bulbs for red LEDs to
match the Pontiac Torrent cluster I put in my Vue, and also fixed my
screwed up temp dial from the prev. owner at the same time!
do you no if that stores the miles??
@kyle51895 I just installed the Pontiac Torrent cluster and was thinking
about changing the white bulbs for red LEDs as well. Could you tell me what
size/type of LEDs and how many?
@MikeyMikeSxE They are B8.5D bulbs, I got 5 red ones from superbrightleds
(.) com. There are 6 bulbs in the climate control, but one of them lights
up the blue portion of the temp knob. I’ll PM you a link to what mine ended
up looking like, it came out great!

Dude, you ROCK. I need to replace the radio in my wife’s VUE – and you also
just fixed another problem. I had some work done, and the temperature
switch has been screwed up for months – now I know why. Thanks!
If replacing the blower resistor does not fix the ‘No Blower Fan’ symptom
then check for a burned connection at multi-connector C200 which is located
behind the left driver’s side ‘kick-panel’ (removable by prying with a
putty knife). The thick Orange wire that supplies 12 volts to the blower
motor is routed through C200 & overheats over time creating an intermittent
or ‘open’ connection. This turned out to be the problem with my 2003 4CYL
VUE. You can search the Saturnalia website for more info
