You don’t have to remove the mount. Just take off the belt and a wrench to loosen the bolt. Then finger loosen the bolt the rest of the way and voila she pops out.
my dads grand prix GTP is alot easier.. the pully was on top nothing in the way but i was in guelph and had no tools so the gm dealer said you wont make it back to ottawa with that howeling bearing…100$ i think it was ..job finished

idler pulleys sometimes get damaged when repairs are made ? was it making a noise?
I use to have a Saturn till it got rear ended then the Saturn before that I had a blown head gasket 🙁
