just take off lower hose……

Jaimito cazares says:

Does anyone know why my Saturn sc2 91 the more speed I put the more it heats up

Tiffany Neal says:

Thank you so much I really needed this video. Your so great for taking the time to help a girl through The University of Youtube. <3

Tim Gravert says:

Nice idea to drain. Lol

Iver Mec-Tin says:

The petcock on the stock radiator can be drained from above with a 1/4" extension on a 1/4" drive. You should have driven the car up on ramps. If you are going to use this car routinely, it is too low to the ground to do any routine service on without ramps.

The stupid plastic box connected to the air filter housing is called a "resonator". It's purpose is to quieten the noise from the air induction system.

Olena Erhardt says:

Thank you for filming this work. May I ask you about that foam pad, did you put it back or it is not necessary? I tried to find that part (I think it is also called Radiator Energy Absorbing Foam Pad), but can't find it anywhere, and the original is kind of worn (2001 Saturn SL2). Is it some special foam or can be replaced w/usual foam. I planned to replace the radiator, but after read one of your viewer (Mark Raday) comment that his radiator lasted 300Kmi even don't know, maybe better to keep the original part for a while (a new radiator is aftermarket). Our Saturn has 133Kmi, and I wanted to replace the radiator just bcs of the mileage. Thank you again for the informative film.

Christina Louise says:

LMAO… stumbled upon this video today, as I am getting ready to swap out the radiator in my SW2. If that radiator cracks again, next time replace it with the aluminum one and you'll never have to worry about it after that. You can find them on eBay for around $60 right now. Also, not a bad idea to put in a new thermostat when you have the radiator and fan out of the way. I hope your wife's sh*tbox lasts a lot longer 🙂 I've had my '96 SC2 for 22 years and it's been incredibly reliable.

GrimZsleeper says:

Where did you get the new rad? I've been looking all over can't find one that isn't used or 55$ and up

Mark Raday says:

Hey man don't go talking smack about a Saturn mine has over 3 hundred thousand miles on it and I'm just going to put in the radiator in it as soon as it gets here. It should be a cake walk even for a disabled old man

Earl Scheib says:

The Saturn's are cheap and go forever

Julian Osorio says:

What size wrench did you use to crack those hard lines off on the passengers side of the radiator

Bigguy 33 says:

I got the same style headliner !

Trials and Tribulations says:

Now in summer is good time to cjnage the starter too. Because its a pita to change during winter plus it's in a pita location too.

I changed it in my sc2 1.9 sohc every thing under hood is the same except the engine, yours dohc

79tazman says:

You need to invest in some absorb-all or kitty litter so when you make a mess that stuff will suck it up and it's a easy clean up

79tazman says:

You need a set of ramps to drive up on easier then jacking it up

79tazman says:

If a new rad is all it takes to make that 200 dollar car a reliable problem free winter beater then your laughing all the way to the bank and I would drive that shit box so I won't have to drive my Mopars in the winter. Right now I running a Honda Accord for a winter beater and I like it great on gas paid 800 back in 17 I think and been using it for a winter beater and back in forth to work and has not let me down once except for the thermostat stuck open the one year so replaced that and still going strong

Peter Giarratano says:

I bought a shirt…

Patrick Fitzwater says:

Jeremy lookin good in that Saturn haha

The C.A.R. Guys / Big Easy-Bob Oh says:

You need a Grand Cherokee! Ima go watch Mopar episodes now lol

Rodney says:

Nice to hear about the youngin sorry you have to work on a Saturn also sorry you have to own a Saturn but hey for the price who could complained

Peckerwood Kustoms says:

Loved the way you kept looking at the start to make sure no one saw you working on it …hahaha…sometimes we have to take one for the team in order to get to work cheap

Clayton County History Hound says:

Went pretty smooth. Wish all projects went that easy lol. If it makes it till next summer I say its a cheap Farley 300 Speedway racer lol. Take care.

Nathan Moore says:

He said he was gonna slide the new unit in and fill it full of fluids. Yes. He. Did.

Moparnut62 says:

I've put engines and trans in Saturn cars….the last one was for my friend….. I really enjoyed watching you work on the turd! But we all need beaters! Love the way you dispensed with the petcock….. I myself have to remove the timing cover on a 01 Taurus cause of a coolant leak through the block gaskets…. New cover this time ….there is not going to be a no.3 fix…. You got to have arms and hands like a size 0 girl to be able to get into modern cars…. I got 13 in forearms ain't easy!
