Hi Alex, I think I mentioned it to you before, 315 MHz is Mostly North America 430 – 432 is for Europe and the rest of the World, I don't think the FCC officially allow 430 MHz in the USA, that Saab is probably an import.

It’s 433 for Asia and Middle East cars versus 315 for North America
I imagine it is rolling code technology and the car and key became out of sync. Putting the key in the ignition probably resynced them
