Hi can you post a video of the wiring of the head unit? I’m trying to do this to my stereo as well my sound is very distorted in the front speakers I’m just curious what kind of wiring it would take.

Colby Rybicki says:

do you have a wiring guide for the 2004 saab 9-3? i cant seem to find one, so i dont know which wires from the CD player go to my new head unit

APoundOfDank says:

The cd changer is directly below it reach where the brick was and push out the CD player and disconnect it and put everything back in sounds like a bust ass project but its not took me 10 mins tops and it saves you from scratching it trying to get it out too so you can make more money on eBay got 137$ for my 01 saab 9-5 CD player hope this helped man good luck!!!! @Moe Mak

APoundOfDank says:

There’s 2 holes on each side of the middle block on the dash where the cassette and buttons are you can by these remover tools at autozone but I’m a cheapo so screw that I took a metal hanger and cut it in half and stuck it in both holes on each side then took a small screw driver and loosened the brick and pulled it out or you could take out the SID man with a little screwdriver disconnect the wires and plug the wholes on the brick and reach In the back and push it out and then once it’s out

Moe Mak says:

was actually thinking about selling my original CD player, anyway you can show how did you remove it ?

What about the optical loop? any info would help.

SNexGen says:

The head unit I had installed only had hook up for four speakers. In order to get the other speakers running I think you would just have to wire a new aftermarket amp in.

Carlos Navarro says:

So the top speakers and the center one will not work when the amp1 is out?
