How do you look into a potentially faulty ECU giving throttle body codes? I have put in several new throttle bodies and keep having the engine go into limp mode.

@nickyd.4633 says:

Is there any difference between the 9-3s computer and the 9-5s? I have a 2004 9-5 Arc that needs a radio code, so will the tech 2 fix that or am i out of luck?

@helm789 says:

I bought a cim for my saab9-3 2.0t do I need the key ignition also please help thanks

@GarreTTTurncoaT says:

I just got mine delivered today.. I’m terrified to see how many codes my TX has lol

@bryancenterfitt7127 says:

Wouldn't the tech 2 allow you to adjust your light functionality when you swap LED's into your vehicle?

I have a '06 9 3 Aero convertible with 115,000…About a month ago the ABS moduel starting acting up and now I can't turn the igition on because of a "steering malfunction" on my display. I bypassed the ABS moduel so I could start the car, but now because of the "steering" problem I can't turn the ignition on. I understand that this is a very common problem on Saabs. I also understand that I can bypass the curcuit that controls the steering malfunction. Worst case senerio, if I have to replace the moduel, will a Chinese Tech 2 help me to program a replacement steering module or ignition switch or new key fob? I really don't want to have to buy used parts. Where could I find new parts if I needed them, thanks!

@great381 says:

Is it possible to marry new abs/esp unit with ECU by stock(AliExpress) tech2, or I would need a laptop for it as well

@candiceclark4995 says:

Hey u and your tech2 out in san tan valley AZ anytime ….
I don't know what's going with my saab and Iv thinking it 2 Mechanic even had a mobile mechanic come out all to steer me the wrong direction..I love my saab but I out of money putting in 2 it that dose not fix it…I'll pay your gas:>

@curtplum9 says:

You mentioned an airbag light. I have that light on and if I put my seats all the way up it goes away. After inspecting, I found that the connector to the passenger seat fell off and looked damaged. 2 questions, is this safe to drive? and is there anyway to fix this? I have an error code on my Tech2 saying "airbag deployed signal circuit, short to ground"

@GurdeepSingh-bu6ee says:

Thanks for helping us all.
I'm learning how to use Tech2.
Tried to change the tire size from 15 to 16".
2003 Saab 95 arc V6
Something I did the mileage meter stopped working.
Need you help.
I will appreciate it.
Thanks and regards

@rbell2915 says:

I bought the Tech 2 you recommended and I'm trying to read the code on my 9-3. Everything is hooked up and there is a green light on the CANDI module and it says there is no CANDI detected.

@zhuoliu5202 says:

Hello Sir,

Do you know if this Tech2 with Globaltis will work for 2010 9-3 when I need to program new key fob?

@karlkutscera4507 says:

I have the clone Tech2 now, but I am having a hard time getting the crack for the TIS2000. Please let us know if you can get a crack for TIS2000.

@MassiveTrackHunter says:

Very cool. That'll help others become more comfortable in Tech2.
Love my Chinese version so far! Very nice to be able to kill DRL's, run tests on various components and change personalization settings.
Another nice revelation: The OG9-3 does not need the candi module and does not need TIS approval. Totally plug and play with no GM interference.

@TechCars says:

The NG9-3 generates a lot of codes. I replaced my interior lights with LED and I always get fault codes on these everytime I do a full scan :-/

@pedrx_v9323 says:

If you ever set up TIS please make a video I just got my clone tech2 but I’m to lazy to set up the software and reading forums

@js_5083 says:

The eSID2 is just fine in reading and clearing codes. Don't need the tech2 for that.

@chilagoUi9299 says:

I have a question. Would a tech 2 tell you if you had a short in a line or somewhere between the fuse and the fuel pump relay? My 95 is down and I cannot figure out what is going on. The fuel pump isn’t getting power.

@SJSOmar says:

A solid laptop is the dell d630 I have the cracked files for tis2k on a flashdrive if you ever need them

@Mortask says:

I can send you some info regarding global tis if your interested.

@1997debbie says:

Thanks I need to get me a tech 2, my car didn't have fog lights so I installed them with the harness and changed the switch. Now I just need to tech 2 it.

@byggs129 says:

Some time ago I wondered how you got the Tech2 too work. But now i understand U never got the Security Access.
Get yourself a WinXP computer and follow this guide! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uH2qMQhqJcI and GlobalTis will be Accessed. GlobalTis backwords Combatable and it will do everyting TIS2000 can do.
I've been copying my own keys and so on and helping my friends with everything Saab Related problems with this one.

Getting a winXPcomputer cant be that hard in the US. Got got one here in Sweden for $90.

@carterchiaramonte7584 says:

You should do a collab with Doug Demuro on a review of your Turbo x

@canadiansaabfreak6530 says:

For getting security access, you should be able to run a pirated version of XP on a virtual machine, that should work just fine for ya
