HOLY POLISH JOB BATMAN! your X is like a mirror.

David S says:

Be careful!!! I just did this in my 08’ Aero. When I removed the map sensor the fuel underneath was bubbling and then exploded in my face.

Nomad Steve says:

Unfortunately I can’t use your system as my sensor is on the side of the engine, great video all the same

CGE Rico says:

Could this help traction control and stability control failure?

GSTYLES45 says:

Hey dude u inspired me to get one i watch your videos a lot . i bought a 2008 93 aero and i love the car it was used but it was in great shape. I have that code now on my car . Thanks for the insite on big help bro. I got to try that will let you know how it works out.

Ivan Ayvar says:

Can I use techron or it has to be gumout?

Adrian Herbert says:

That sounds an awesome fix. Recently had to replace my fuel pump on V6 FWD 2008 Vert. Nighmare getting the part, but MAPTUN came up trumps with the RXP 251 pump. Did you upgrade yours? If so, what to?

D A Henry says:

Do you think this would help car pass emissions test too…I had a code p1453…

Joe Blow says:

Fuel pressure regulator 1 = P0089 Code ( From Almost Empty Gas Tank to Evap Purge Valve )

Mcdonald says:

Whiskey shots…. for your Saab… Nice

E. Daniel Karjala says:

Love the pipes! Korona DUo88s!

E. Daniel Karjala says:

1. I just received the CODE P0089 and used FIXD app and device to confirm it is a "Fuel pressure regulator, performance problem." I am going oto watch and see now.

2. I love your caps (oil and brake) – Where did you get these as I would love to buy them, at least the oil cap.

Thanks!

Gavin Willey says:

Just tried doing this now I have a misfire. 🙁

Barry Condon says:

Yes indeed the exhaust sounds killer! Can you give more specifics on the components? Would love my '06 Aero wagon to sound similar.

Pedrx_V says:

Last time I tried to remove the fuel regulator sensor the gas pressure sprayed out on to my face & eyes worst saab fixing experience

Moi says:

I got the code P0740 torque converter clutch solenoid; is this bad?

Mike C says:

Recently joined a Saab nz group.. been promoting your channel!!

Tony Q says:

Also, I'm gonna open up a can of worms by saying this but I'm following both master mechanics I've met in LA who work on these and YOU LIVE IN AZ. USE 15W50 MOBIL 1. Avoid burning up, especially in your climate.

Tony Q says:

I've had this code on every 2.8 I've worked on. It's either the fuel pump or the pressure sensor. Even after you replace it, the code may come back randomly or if it's really hot. I've rarely seen this solution work but one thing I HIGHLY recommend NOT doing is buying an Orio aka ProParts Sweden pump. THEY WILL NOT WORK OUT OF THE BOX. You'll get the fuel meter only going halfway, the car might die or it may not work at all. I don't know how these are still sold but avoid at all costs. OEM or Spectra is the only I have found that works.

Richard Burchett says:

I get that code almost constantly now. (I think it's that number. Mine corresponds to fuel pressure regulator.) I've replaced the sensor and even had a couple of injectors go bad that have been replaced. I'll give it a try and see if that keeps it cleared. Thanks for posting. This is the only suggestion I've seen that's close to my issue.

Kane Ng Weng hong says:

Try to use e85 ethernol on your Saab 9-3 turbo X

joel lofquist says:

I’ve been having this code randomly since I’ve purchased my car I’ve read all over I’ve had my injectors tested and rebuilt they tested fine before and after I’ve also read the the fuel pump is starting to fail…

MassiveTrackHunter says:

Likely just ethanol decomposing and making a mess. Good idea. Run through the tank a couple times too.

Ethanol has to be used in a couple of months or it starts to break down in the tank. Nasty results after a year or so.
