Use that instead of a cookie disc.

Shoppey89 says:

Oh poor Viggen!! 🙁 I would freaking bash that guys head in for using a dremel..
Should really have gotten some basic mechanic training lol!

Mooseboy240 says:

there are several problems that reveal a bad head gasket first check your oil to see if it’s turned milky, if not do a compression test on all cylinders and verify you have good compression. if you have good compression get a block tester so you can check your coolant for combustion gasses

Michael Sackstein says:

You should really take that stuff to a machine shop and get it cleaned and resurfaced.

Ravenkil says:

Thanks jay wells. Do you also recommend sealer on the head gasket?

Jay Wells says:

The crank gear has a shield the prevents the chain from jumping or slipping off- there is no way to jump it without removing that shield. FYI

sarcastic2004 says:

dremel to clean head surface ha he hi good luck

Mugwump Kwingwaage says:

What no duct tape?!?

MrBojax4u says:

After going thru the effort and research to do the v6 headgasket. I ,too, shudder at the use of a dremel shaving away precious mils of aluminum that is already difficult to seal. ie headgasket leaks. DONT TRY THIS AT HOME KIDS. 80 to 100 grit emerycloth, at the most.Sprays like carb cleaner help. are preferable. no disrespect intended. honestly

Ravenkil says:

Did you take the timing cover off when you put it back together? If not how would you know if it jumped on the crank gear?

Michael Luscher says:

Using sealer on the head gasket? And a dremel with a cutting cookie to polish the head? I see sooo many problems with this guy

cipmars says:

Geez, I can only imagine what’s in the lower half and in the channels…

JakeStatonEXR says:
