Thanks for the video. Very Helpful! I was able to remove the three nuts securing the flex pipe to the engine. Question: Were the new Hex nut:s (M8x1.25, flanged, stainless) hard to get on? They new ones look so much more substantial the the original nuts. Thanks

Can't understand why you didn't just cut the old rubber hangers off and should use exhaust paste on joints

What size the clamp did you use

Just to say thank you for the video. I carried out the work today and all went well save that someone had been there before and had sheared a stud but got over that by drilling through and replaced the stud with an appropriate nut and bolt. Works just fine. Kwik Fit wanted to charge me £650 plus VAT for the repair; they said the whole system needed to be replaced despite the fact all bar the flexi was just fine; even after 18 years. Parts cost me less than £70. Thanks again

Lately I hit speed bump with one way spikes sticking out and I heard painful noise. I've notice that the flexi pipe is off the rubber hangings around 5cm and i cant fit that in back in place. When I hit thes spikes I hit on cat front end. That pulls all exhaust to the back as my muffler pipe is now pushing bumper out. I can't see any cracking on flexi mesh. It looks good. But is it a chance that it extends? And stays like that. That's why I can't push it back and fitted to the hooks?

Any one know the part number

Jessie Schorr says:

I literally just broke the stud like you did on my 9-3 2.0T

Where did you fit the clips?

Thank you for the instruction video. Saved me a good amount of money doing myself and not paying for an one piece exhaust pipe and muffler for over a $1k.
