quick and easy way to fix external door handle issues on a saab 9-3 2008-2009 without the need to remove the interior door trim or external handle.
open the door from inside.
remove black grommet above catch
locate the silver pin (it will be obvious as it’ll be sticking out)
use a pin punch to press it back in
refit grommet
total time 5 minutes max
skill level…. a child could do it (with supervision)

Hi. Thanks for taking the time to make this. I have a 2008 93, but it is the front passenger side that is the issue. This does not have the gromit covering the hole, but a torx screw. Have you dealt with a failue on that side before?
