Nothing special, anything will work as long as it can resist the strain of the spring. You position the hook with open trunk. When you close the trunk, there will be more tension on the spring then before. But obviously, that open the trunk automatically.
Is it just any old hook or a special one?
1 hook on 1 side is enough. If you do not like the ‘springsound’, put rag in the spring.
Very nice. Is 1 hook enough? Have you tried 1 on each spring?
