This is how you get high-quality DIY Bluetooth aux input for the Saab 9-5. It’s easy to install and does not require permanent modification to the car.
The product is called Bluesaab and is a piece of hardware that intercepts the CD changer input in the trunk. You’ll lose any cd changer you have, but in my opinion a Bluetooth aux is more useful.
Bluesaab is an open-source project and you can order the parts yourself to build it. You need skills in soldering surface-mount electronics (easy to learn) and knowledge in flashing a bootloader to an ATMega chip (similar to what you use in an arduino). In this video I’m using Bluesaab v.3.3.
