Do you mean the bolts and nuts at the muffler? I replaced them since long
time with Inox A2. Of course this material is less stronger than 8.8 but
still strong enough for the job. The advantage of Inox is, that you may
easily open them, even after years.
thanks – and the muffler fasteners? I presume grade 8.8, zinc plated,
antisieze… anything else?
Usually I would drive the car. But here the muffler was off, thus I had to
use indeed a heat gun. I just adjusted the temperature to 80° and I went to
lunch. Such a low temperature isn’t a problem for any part, but the oil is
already more liquid.
great tutorial as usual at 3:21 you say “I am heating up the oil now” – how
is this accomplished, the heat gun? how did the muffler fasteners stay in
such good condition?

Great video as always! Also, great tips on replacing the plugs and being
sure to torque it very lightly. For us Americans 24 Nm is 17 ft/lbs and
don’t go over!

nicht Motor )…..Automatik und Getriebe haben unabhängig voneinander
verschiedene Öle
