PORSCHE 996 TIE ROD DIY Removal and Replacement.

Video description
Today’s video is about how to replace tie rods on Porsche 911.

Have you ever thought to yourself “I wonder if I can change these tie rods myself”???? Well the answer is yes and the best part is it’s not very difficult. In this video I show you how to replace them. If you like this video guess what?…  I have more coming so please subscribe so you can get the latest updates. Please be careful wrenching  in a parking deck. I’m not a professional and if you are watching this video you probably aren’t either. So use jack stands, wheels chocks, eye protection, hearing protection gloves , etc. when wrenching in a parking deck.

Could just be the way the video is presented but seems your brake disc are wrong way round!

Nice job man. Thx!

Uncle Fjester says:

I'm not sure if my tie rods are bad or my struts, but something is making the front fell weird.

Christopher28fair says:

Thanks – maybe I can do this job. One thing – it just seems annoying to have to get the wheels aligned again… you're marking the bolt, counting the threads… how far off can it be? And how come we can't do the alignment? Such a pain in the ass having to drag it to the shop etc. Anyway thanks…

Julian Mariotti says:

Wow thanks I needed this!

Buy a batt powered impact wrench and it makes removing all nuts short work.
