Porsche 996 & 997 Water Pump & Thermostat Replacement DIY (Carerra, Targa, & Boxster)

►Porsche 996 water pump leaks are one of the most commonly searched issues when it comes to the 996 911. While we’re completing this job on the 996 generation Porsche, it’s also applicable to the 997 generation with the M96 engine.

While water pump replacement on the 996 isn’t the easiest of DIY jobs, it’s still one that you can complete in your garage with a minimum of special tools. You shouldn’t be mixing coolant. Green coolant is not the correct coolant. Should of flush the whole system multiples time. Other than that great video

Car is in great shape if it's been out in the New England Winters. Excellent camera work getting all of those shots in tight spots!
