Lot’s of fun – been there myself
I face the same “pins removal” problem with my 911. I opened the hood as
far as I could, clamped the shaft of the strut-shock near the fat part with
a vise-grip. This allowed me to wiggle the hood to easily remove the pins
with my hands..
