Rick Park says:

awsome! using the wax b4 touch-up and punching sand paper for sanding?! wow!
What a pencil !

snarlingrabiddog5150 says:

I tried this process NUMEROUS times and EVERY damned time, I glued the
sandpaper gritty side to the eraser. Had I ONLY seen this video sooner,
COUNTLESS hours would have been eliminated. I finally just said fuck it
and got out a belt sander with 60 grit and let ‘er rip. Don’t judge me.
The car belonged to Kanye West after the Lambo vs. gate incident. He was
told about what I did, but when he hit his head on that street sign, he
forgot and paid me.

Romans Five|Eight says:

A black sharpie may take away the look of the chip but it isn’t protecting
your car from corrosion! If looks aren’t a concern you’re better off just
dabbing it with a touch up pen from the dealer. It’ll leave you with
protected paint that won’t rust!

EEVOL says:

@5:40 did he eat the fiber from the touch up stick???

deluxdg says:

End result ….?

norm4260 says:

what kind of pen does he use at 2:05?

Luke Teel says:

You said you needed 2000 grit and then used 2500….. Good tutorial though,
thanks.

Chris B says:

These videos are awesome. I have never had a car that I really had to worry
about much, but I recently purchased a brand new black truck. The thing
looks amazing when I put work in but it takes time. I get great tips and
products from you and these videos. Thank you.

What takes me 2 seconds and a sharpie, takes him 10 minutes to explain,
love this series though. Cool to learn how pros do it

pierga1270 says:

What do you think about Dr. Colorchip? I can imagine it’s not nearly as
effective…

Ispintechno2 says:

No you can sand rust off. Actually if it’s surface rust simple rubbing
compound from the hardware store works great. I use the turtle wax stuff
all over my car once a year. Removes brake dust and rust. Even on chrome.

Mike Coleman says:

Do a Hank Moody with it.

iCONICAACINOCi says:

Because likes convince people it’s kosher. Just like how it got you
wondering. So fake accounts are created and the comments are liked from
those accounts.

BrownMan59 says:

Clean the rust as best possible then touch up the paint.

anaconda118 says:

it takes much longer and the machine simply goes further than the human
hand can apply pressure

Calvin Morgan says:

Another great & very valuable video Larry. Thanks.

WhatItIs-.- says:

TY How the hell do these usually get a lot of likes? weird

Ashish Mohan says:

This is quite embarrassing but what if you have one that’s rusting already?

leloodallasmultipass says:

oh this is just great. I JUST fixed a paint chip and while it came out
fine, I would have done ALL of this to make it perfect.

Zwikster says:

and I noticed that it looks like there is no carnauba wax on the 2nd
application of paint? …but im thinking there should be wax again so the
touchup paint doesnt go onto the non chipped area too?

fmonk says:

take a small container, and spray that paint into it. Wasteful, but if it’s
all you got, you do what you can… no pun intended.

aydinvideo says:

Seriously? Why didn’t you show the final touch up and finished result? Then
you just show you adding paint to the chipped area, without waxing around
the area first, and then jump cut to ‘ok all done’! I wanted to see how
well you could make it look.

fockyerdod3r says:

What is the name of the music at the end?

Vern B says:

Perfect until next week when some truck launches a stone at your car and yo
get to do this all over again. ; ) Great tips.

MaXimus666789 says:

Great Video!

usergt3540r says:

the sandpaper-on-end-of-pencil should be your prep stage which will should
take the surface rust with it.

supramkivtt2jz says:

Carpro IronX should remove all iron particles. Remove with IronX and follow
Larrys advise!

xxSoulcrazyxx says:

more of these tips please!

DrRyan82994 says:

For under $30 I’m pretty happy with my work and it didn’t take too long.
Was probably only out working on it for a couple hours. Painting wasn’t as
scary as I thought it’d be either, for the smaller chips you just dip the
brush into the chip and the paint flows right where it should be.

ArtzierzDJ/Productions says:

Nice car dude

FormulaDZM says:

hate yourself for letting it get that way then either ignore it, fix it the
ugly way with a layer of primer, or bite the bullet and have it repainted.

Zwikster says:

thanks man, im watching the “ammo vandilized hood” video right now!
