In this video I cover the engine oil and filter change process for the VR6 variant Porsche Cayenne (base model). The yearly service is what we recommend along side the engine oil change. The yearly service includes: Clearing out all vehicle water drains, cleaning/treating all door rubber seals, clearing out radiator/condenser intake, and lubricating all door locks/hinges.
This video is on the long side but I hope you enjoy it.

My name is Ryan. I’ve been a professional automotive technician for over 10 years. Through high school I worked at an independent service shop every day after class, during the summer, and then part time while I attended Universal Technical Institute. While at UTI I applied for and was accepted into the Porsche technology apprentice program (PTAP) in Atlanta Georgia for 6 months of factory training. Once I returned to Chicago, I started my Porsche career at Loeber Motors Porsche in Lincolnwood, Illinois. I’ve been at my dealership for 7 years now.
Every day I come into the shop I strive for perfection in my abilities to maintain and service these amazing machines. My goal with this channel is to show what goes into keeping new and classic Porsche vehicles on the road for years to come.

Since I’m seeing a lot of questions about this here you go. Thanks for watching!
Chemicals and sprays used in the video:
Brake clean – used for oil filter housing and cleaning residual oil off of engine.
Mild degreaser – used to clean engine bay before applying Winzer rubber and plastic restore.
Winzer rubber and plastic restore – used for door/sunroof seals and engine bay trim. As far as I know this is only sold to shops for professional use.
Wurth HHS-K – used for door hinges and locks.
Is there a list of all the products and tools used/needed?
I very much liked this video and i wish if i have such professional sevice centres in my state
I wouldnt want my Porsche tech spray cleaning my door entries at $200 an hour!
is there a list oof tools you used to perform this oil change somewhere, just curious?
Holy cow that was impressive. Hope my Cayenne gets similar treatment at Porsche South Africa
MAN i love this tech's ATTENTION to detail good job
Thank you so much for this excellent video!
This is how a car is properly maintained but don’t be fooled he’s getting paid to do that service it’s a porche exclusive service interval package price bet that whole service cost 400 dollars but it’s far beyond an oil change def worth the money I would bring my car to him every 6k miles no doubt
Great video and great work.
Протёр тряпочкой люк и все обслужил.А смазать направляющие,шарниры?
None of the Porsche dealerships I've been to performed even half of what this guy did. I bring my car in for annual service and they only changed the engine oil. They didn't even bother to wash my car. I bought the complete maintenance pkg for 5 years & paid around $30K which was supposed to include everything. Had a nail in one of my tires and they said they'll order a new tire for me….that was since last Xmas 2023 but heard nothing back from them. I'm still driving with a patched tire performed free by America's Tire. This video is pure BS advertisement. Porsche service centers would never go through all these time consuming steps let alone blow out leaf debris and spit shine your engine abay and lube your door seals s shown here. The only time you get this level of service is when you buy a new car with them every year.
This guy is super. Amazing work ethic. I recommend him anytime
My Porsche dealership never clean it they way this mechanic has wow
Because the camera is next to him
That’s how you would service a car, but unfortunately most of the workshops won’t do this way
what's the name of the coolant you recommend?
can you show where the sunroof drains are and how you maintain them, and if you can show the greasing of the sunroof for the 958
Hope you are doing okay
The 2019-2021 it come with a Lithium Ion battery and I heard a lot of bad thing about those. Like they will die within 3-4 years, and it cost $2500 to replace, and you can only buy them from Porsche, you can’t put a AGM battery in either. Are these true? Could you shed some light on it if you can? Thank you
Obviously the person who drives this car couldn't take care of it… I just don't understand this, buy a car that you can afford and enjoy your live.
Where do you work??? I have a 2016 Cayenne S Turbo need to have looked at
Thank you in advance
Mike
For the record Porsche charges over $400 for an oil change…. If they charge a lot here too then I’d say it’s the least they can do. No disrespect. Good work. I also have been treated very well by my local dealer when needing diagnostic work… just never going for an oil change etc lol
I’ve been a fan of your videos. Too bad you stopped filming. Hopefully you moved on to better and bigger things. I have a 17 macan and I hear some water on the evaporator. Do you know where I can find the drain tubes to make sure they are not clogged? Also, I get a quick smell coming out of the ac when I turn the vehicle on. Maybe is related to the water not draining properly. Hopefully is not coolant from the heater core. Thanks.
It'd be great if they were like this OFF camera….
What is the cost for a yearly oil service on a porsche cayenne?
