Is this the 2.7-2.9 or the 3.2 ?
Looks very similar to my late 2008 Cayman – I’ve not been brave enough to
take that cover off, so many thanks for this video. All the queries about
cabin noise – go test an S, its far, far noisier than the standard car.

Not really, Porsche have surprisingly made it simple to maintain, Once the
engine cover is off, you can get to the air filter and the spark plugs are
located behind the 2 rear wheels, being a flat 6 engine they’re directly in
front of you.
Makes me want to put a water hose in there and spray it clean.
Go Pro HD purchased so a lot more videos coming soon from the Porsche. A
lot of noise can be expected from the flat six engine!
Me, I regret not buying a TVR T350 instead of this, but…. as an everyday
car I can’t fault the Cayman, I use this as my everyday car and it’s
comfortable for long distance driving across the UK. Quiet when you need it
to be but also fun when you need to open it out.
No never taken it on a dusty road, but I’m not sure of the owner before me,
but from what I understand they’re all that dusty.
Is it a pain in the ass to do maintenance sometimes?
Wow, you actually have to scream the engine cover off!
No, very quiet when driving normally, I’d say you hear the exhaust more
than the engine, until you open it out that is. However I’ve tried driving
it with the engine cover off and it’s just to much to handle then.
