I am stuck with a 2006 Cayenne S with Bi Xenon and one hella nasty housing on driver side. From other videos is seems the driver side does deteriorate faster and worse than passenger side.
Whatsup Kevin, I have the same Cayenne. Was wondering if you would have any updated links for the adapters that would work? Seems like they're discontinued/unavailable. Or if it were possible to modify the stock ones like you were saying for the high beams
Well Demonstrated kevin . Love the upgrade .
I will try giving it a shot at my Cayenne .
Do you need 2 different separate adaptors for low and high beam ?
Thanks
Sweet! I've got a 2009 Cayenne and was wondering if I could do the conversion myself. Thanks
What codes do you get when using non can bus led bulbs?
What are the codes you can get using led bulbs without can bus?
Hi any problems with canbus? Error messages??Tia
Thanks Kevin. Is there any opportunity to screw up the adaptive headlights doing this conversion?
Hi Kevin, the Alikee led conversion kit is not available do you recommend another kit suited for the porsche cayenne 958?
Fantastic Tutorial Kevin! I have a question tho, I saw the Aukee brand in the video also has a fan cooled 18000lumen version of the h7 LEDs, would you recommend that over the fanless one? My car is a 2010 panamera turbo and I think I have D1S for low beam and H7 for both high beam and steer assist light. Is there a good D1S led that I can pick up?
I have a 2004 Porsche cayenne, what adapters do I use ????
Better off with the halogen bulbs in the winter to melt snow and ice.
Thanks for sharing can you provide the link where you get the adapter?
I am confused, I got 16 Panamera, so the H7 you are replacing looks like thats for high beam on mine and D1s for low beam.
There are some legitimate improvements available for the headlamps on the Cayenne (Philips X-tremeVision or check danielsternlighting.com for Vosla 65w H7s) but installing "drop-in" LEDs is not good advice. LED replacement headlamp bulbs do not meet certain dimensional standards for replaceable light sources set by FMVSS 108, and exceed the luminous flux standards for replaceable light sources established by FMVSS 108. LED replacement headlamp bulbs may, in certain applications, create excessive glare or brightness for oncoming drivers. Germany recently legalized some Osram-branded LED H7 replacements for CERTAIN vehicles. No Porsches are on the list, but the bulbs tested terribly anyway.
Hi Kevin,
What a joy to watch you tinker with interesting stuff.
Since you mention our 996:
As you know the 996 has plastic diffusers and oftentimes they turn yellow due to excessive heat of the extra white bulbs.
Do you fear to "fry" yours with the new bulbs? How hot do they really get? These headlights have not ventilation whatsoever.
Thank you again,
Peter

Nice job nice job I went and got my transfer case replaced by Porsche thanks thanks for the information you're providing
Thank you Kevin! Love the upgrade. They should've came like that imo
This is exactly I want to do but this car before HID xenon right thanks Mr Kevin
Why wouldn't you just wrap the plug with a little bit of electrical tape to make sure it never rattles loose?
Did you check the beam Kevin? Often LEDs put out less light & poor cutoff
Interesting headlamp assembly.
Should work on a 16 cayenne base right Kevin?
Good Job Kevin, Stay warm out there
Good vid.
Unfortunately I still have to wait a year until I'm able to get a 996. Hopefully the value doesn't increase too much by then 🙂
Awesome job! My future upgrade on the list! Thank you Kevin!
