David Gibson says:

I have done some sheet metal work on vehicles where I used a wooden radius punch and had a lead shot bag under a leather sheet that works wonders to get the shape right.

Roy Lewis says:

As the fine metal worker you are, you might consider an improvement in your studio’s acoustics by making up a few feet of eavestrough for the studio’s front door… I can’t believe how much it rains in your neck of the woods!
Love your videos and the way you share your skills!!

herbienbrian2 says:

that there is some good metal workin’.

SHcinema says:

It’s my understanding that after doing that level of metal work, you should have heat the whole pan (like in an oven) and let it cool down slowly to alleviate the metal stress the work created. Not doing that will increase the likelyhood of a crack forming where that crown was, or so I hear some metal guru’s tell. Probably wouldn’t be a bad idea to braze that area and sand it flat anyway. Muggyweld has some interesting stuff for that.
