This video shows you how to install a crankshaft position sensor on your 2005-2010 Pontiac G6. The crankshaft position sensor is an important component of any electronically controlled ignition system. The sensor provides the computer with data about the position of the crank shaft to properly adjust ignition timing. If the sensor in your vehicle is broken or malfunctioning, you may suffer poor performance, or get a check engine light.

2005 Pontiac G6
2006 Pontiac G6

Dose this work for the 3.5l Pontiac g6 too?

bianca hernandez says:

Will the sensor cause a crank but no start issue? I have a 06 g6 and it’s been having that issue for months, there are times where it will start and then next thing you know it stops and continues it’s crank with no start. I’ve also replaced the fuel pump around 4 times now along with fuses and relays. Still no improvements.

Tim King says:

Will this throw a P0014 or a P0011 code? Or do thoughs codes mean the camshaft actuator needs replaced? Thanks for the video.
