We currently do not have an auto repair video on that particular part.
We’ll keep this request in mind in the event that we need to make this auto
repair. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
It should be a similar process. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
If I wanted to change the other headlight next to the battery is it the
same process?
thanks for posting..i got this same car.
@ThePronoun Thank you for watching our How To video for your Pontiac
Sunfire. We carry quite a few repair parts for them on our website
1aauto.com
@BMDestroyers These headlights are sealed so there isn’t a way to take them
apart. We sell new headlights for your Pontiac Sunfire located on our
website here. 1aauto.com/1A/HeadLights/Pontiac/Sunfire/1ALHP00259
thank you
Thanks very heplull
those plastic clips have two parts! You have to pull out the middle pin
first then the bigger one. I didnt know that and snapped them all off. :O
A person certainly seems amazing when they help with a problem that
elicited 20 minutes of muttered curses and head scratching. When I fix
someone’s computer I get some of the same reactions. Your video was very
helpful and now I don’t have to worry about getting a ticket in the early
evening or not seeing at night. Light went out Saturday and I was agonizing
if it was worth trying myself. Glad I did, and glad I found your video.
thank you for this video. I was stumped with the plastic clips.
I have a question if u can answer it. I have a Pontiac sun fire 2002 and I
had installed some HID lights and one side works good but the other doesn’t
and I moved the same lights that don’t work on the right side and moved it
to the left and it worked. What do u think is the problem?
It would be different, you should be able to access them from under the
bumper.
can you do a video on aiming sunfire headlights please
A lot of those kits require a relay harness to provide a constant power to
the ballast. Without the relay, you would be pushing power to only one side
of the vehicle.
thank you!
Thank you very much for posting this vid. I wasn’t gonna pay someone to fix
something as easy as a head light, but I had no idea what I was doing.
Thanks for the tutorial! My lights are both shining bright now. 😀
I want to know how to remove the head light cover so I can clean it! I cant
find videos anywhere, does anyone know?
hi thanks for the video
Thank you for posting these very helpful videos – saved me tonight when a
headlight went out. THANKS!!!!!
Hi. Thanks for the video. Is it possible to change the front signal lights
using this method? Or is it different? Thanks
excellent excellent video, a great help….
We’ll keep this request in mind in the event that we need to work on
another one of these vehicles.
It could be a ground or wiring issue. You may want to check with the
manufacturer of the HID kit, to see if they have a solution, chances are it
has probably happened before.
hey thanks so much!! A friend at work volunteered to replace my bulb in the
parking lot at the end of the day. We didn’t have a screwdriver (thankfully
) so he didn’t do it. He was going to pry off the clips that hold the
plastic housing case to the front. Judging from the video , we would have
just smashed up the headlight and not been able to replace the bulb. So
thanks for saving me the $40 install charge when just a little know-how not
only saved me the fee but the price of a new lamp!
