That’s cool l. Thank you

godbout568 says:

Don’t forget to get your car aligned after installing new struts!!

1A Auto Parts says:

@expresstrucker1 It helps prevent the a arm from swinging down while you
unbolt the top.

1A Auto Parts says:

You can only replace one, if the age of them is about the same it’s
typically better to replace them in pairs. We can ship to Canada, but it
has to be done through our website. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

1A Auto Parts says:

Yes they would. They fit the 95-05 Chevy Cavalier.

expresstrucker1 says:

i just got a question, is the floor jack underneath the ball joint
preventing it from breaking something? just curious as i have a 99 chevy
cavalier and need some new struts, pads and rotors

Clint Felton says:

i have an 04 cavalier will those same ones work?

monkey14286 says:

Thanks for the video and also wondering if you guys could make a playlist
on your channel for the Chevy cavalier and sunfire

russ hibbs says:

so I went to your web sight and you DO NOT sale The preloaded struts like
this video says you do. What a load of crap

1A Auto Parts says:

Oil on brake pads can hurt the performance but over a short period of using
the brakes, the oil will be completely burnt off.

Clint Felton says:

how do u know if they are bad struts or not?

1A Auto Parts says:

@003Mexicano Thank you for checking out our videos. As of right now we do
not have a video of that particular install.

1A Auto Parts says:

Usually when they get old that tends to happen too. Here’s a link to our
95-05 Pontiac Sunfire shocks and struts.

1A Auto Parts says:

@kooldude1992 You may want to check the inner and outer tie rods to see if
they are working properly and not frozen. I would also check the ball
joints too.

Clint Felton says:

well mine dnt really do that they just take bumps real hard and squeak

Luis Ramos says:

really great video, first video i watch and i subscribed to you, i acutally
just graduated for auto mechanic, and this lady wants me to replace her
front shock absorbers on i believe its a 2003 chevy silverado, i know i can
do it but im a little nervous, i was wondering if u had a video on that, or
something similar, i would apreciate it a lot. thanks

Johnny Chaka says:

Do i need new springs or i can used my old ones for my front 87 integra ?

y2j514 says:

I have done the suspension on my sunfire before a few years ago so I am
familiar with the process. Just came back on here to review before doing it
again. The needed socket sizes at the beginning is amazing! thanks for
that. Torque specs you gave are wrong according to Haynes manual Front
Strut to steering knuckle 133 ft-lbs Strut to body nuts and bolt 18 ft-lbs
Rear Lower shock bolt/nut 52 ft-lbs Upper shock nut and bolts (95-99): 21
ft-lbs, 2000+: 18 ft-lbs

1A Auto Parts says:

1A Auto Parts says:

@flapoliticking Glad to help!! Please visit our website or youtube channel
next time you need parts or information.

shlomiya says:

isn’t it dangerous to spray oil near the brake pads and discs? As far as I
know if you got oil it there it will really hurt your braking and you can’t
clean that

kooldude1992 says:

@1aauto Thanks for your response 1AAuto. The problem was that the alignment
was knocked off so badly after I changed the struts, it caused a huge wear
in the side of the front right tire. I only had driven it a single day and
it did all that damage. The total toe in the front was something like
-2.03. The tire is what caused the skidding. I highly recommend anyone who
changes their struts to get an alignment as 1AAuto suggested in their
video.

1A Auto Parts says:

If they have quite a few miles on them, you may want to just buy the loaded
struts so that your suspention is back to the way that it once was.

kooldude1992 says:

Hey 1AAuto. Thanks for the video. I replaced the front and rear struts on
my 97 Pontiac Sunfire. However when I would turn left, the front right tire
sounded like it was skidding. I got it aligned and it seemed to help, but
when I turn left sharply enough it will still skid. I can’t replicate this
when turning right. Any ideas? Thanks.
