Oh yeah … I did have to borrow a pulley removal and installation tool
from an auto parts store.
Hey thanks bro..removed my pump yesterday and I did need the tool to remove
the pulley from the pump..thanks for the feed back 🙂
Also possibly a mirror to help with alignment, because I had to access the
bolts with the pulley in a position so that I could extract the bolts
through the holes in the pulley.
No special tools that I remember: sockets with some short extensions,
probably an open-end wrench and a screwdriver for the hydraulic
connections, some means of removing the serpentine belt. There is probably
a better video discussing those details.
Did you need a special tool to remove the pump or was just it straight
un-losing bolts?
