Replacing the headlight bulb in a Pontiac G6, we found was more difficult than expected. In today’s video, we outline the following steps:
1. Using a flathead screwdriver to remove the push clips.
2. Remove the two bolts that hold in each lamp. They should be either a 10mm or a 7mm.
3. I was able to finagle the lamp out of the body without removing the bumper. Be careful not to damage your paint.
4. Cut off the old pigtail and remove the jacket of the wiring, exposing some of the metal. Slide on a solder seal wire connectors and use a heatgun to connect the new one on.
