While I mostly appreciate those that will put up do-it-yourself videos to
help those less capable, you might want to rethink it. There’s no fuse it’s
called a circuit breaker, which means your “test” of it was completely
bogus and if you’re gonna call the video “How to change a bad power window
motor” you might consider actually showing the change. A person has to
watch you fumble around for 3/4’s of the video t’shooting w/no motor
change. Waste of time.
Hey, thanks for the video. I have a question about the motor. Does it fit
all 4 windows or I have to specify for which door I need. I have 4 door
sunfire, 2.4L. thanks again
what a useless video. you played with the multi meter instead of showing
how to re attach the motor to the regulator. didnt show how to remove the
door panel, didnt show anything important. much better videos on here than
this. thanks for nothing!
Was there rivets used to attach the regulator to the motor? Would it be
easier to simply buy the complete assembly rather than just the motor? Even
if you don’t need to replace the regulator??
Yes Hvwy – I took the drill bit i used to the hardware store and bought a
bug of small nuts and bolts that would fit the bit. I was going to use a
rivet gun but there wasn’t enough room to get it in the space.

Ebay i just found window motors over $30 cheaper then the parts store

Diagonal pliers to pull that out?! What about needle-nose…
How did you remount the motor if you drilled out the rivets? Did you use
screws?
You spent way to much time on using a multimeter. You didnt really show how
to remove it, or replace it, other than drilling rivets out.

You should use a leaf blower to clean out all the garbage in the car!
A set of nuts and bolts usually comes with the new motor to reinstall it.
informative video, thanks! The owner needs a garbage bag in his car instead
of using the passenger floor. 🙂
what size bolts did you use to replace the riviets to the door?
Possibly Hvwy – I guess it depends on how much the assembly costs. The
motor was not expensive.
Right you are Seabee – or a shovel !
I use whatever’s handy Maken.
