Peugeot 308 Repair Flip key with remote entry and immobiliser.

How to replace a damaged flip key on a 2012 Built Peugeot 308. This video shows how to save over 300AUD by buying a replacement casing and using the services of your local, professional locksmith. Make sure the locksmith has the (rather expensive) equipment to scan your old blade, and if possible get the key cutting code from your Peugeot dealer (not the immobiliser code). The tiny “popup” key cutting booths will probably not have the right gear for the double-sided blade so don’t risk it for the sake of a $5-10 saving. Remember: the car will turn over with the right blade but not start without the transponder on the circuit board. Don’t forget the thumbs up if my video helps (It is my first YouTube so please forgive the Spartan production values).

Hi will I found the best way to change the blade over is if you look at the keys near the fob there is a little hole in the key, in which there is a little pin if you get a nail or something similar and tap the pin out you can do the same on the new key and just exchange the actual blades
cheers
