Peugeot 307 II. Halogen Day Running Light

Peugeot 307 II. Halogen Day Running Light

Hi guys, this is a quick video showing the added DRL function to my P307. It uses the high beam lights at reduced power (the high beam bulbs get about 4,5V),…

It’s a built circuit that reduces the voltage of the high beam from 14,4V
to about 2,7V, and does the switching on&off according to the circumstances
(main lights on/off, engine on/off). The whole thing is connected in 5
places to the electric cables of the car.

Hi, this is nice thing, i’m wondering if it is the same for p206 with h7
high bean? If You build it how much does it cost to buy from You? Is there
a scheme for build-it-myself? Thanks in advance

Szia! Most találtam meg a videódat. Engem is nagyon érdekelne egy ilyen
DRL, nem tudnál esetleg segíteni egynek a beszerzésében? Nagyon
megköszönném! Üdvözlet!

How much do you charge & is it easy enough to install? Many thanks 🙂

mathaios000 says:

Very cool. How did you do this? Is it possible to buy a kit for this? I
would love to have this on my car.. Thanks 🙂

kecskesadam says:

happy you like it 🙂

MarkE077 says:

Very nice. I am interested in buying it from you, if you still make them?

kecskesadam says:

It’s the signal of the assisted direction. It turns on with the engine on
(or in the very rare cases of the car moving without engine, faster then 5
km/h).

kecskesadam says:

Hi, it’s a circuit that reduces the +14,4V to +2,7V (adjustable from 0 to
14,4V), and puts it on the high beam bulbs, with the engine ON, in case of
no low beam or fog light operation. If one or both gets switched on, the
power’s cut on the high beam. With the engine OFF the circuit cuts the
power as well. There’s no change on the fuctionality of the full power high
beam. The kit is hand made, order by me if you’d like one, or you could do
it for yourself as well (of skilled friends).

nice job, very cool. Would you mind sharing how you did this? I have a 1st
gen. 307 and would be interested to know. Thanks 🙂

kecskesadam says:

Hi Zeljko, I’m not sure for the moment if the cables are the same in the
p206 (normally the whole system of the lights are the same in all Peugeots,
we just need to know the cables). Let me ask one of my friends about the
cables. I’ll get back to you soon. Cheers!

Danilo Soares says:

Where did you find the engine signal?

kecskesadam says:

I’ll make some if there’s still the need 🙂

lebski1991 says:

thats was awesome !!

kecskesadam says:

The costs are about 35-40 €, and it’s easy enough to install it once you
know where to connect. That depends on the car (you can put this box into a
lot of different cars, the difficulty is really just to find the connecting
points).

kecskesadam says:

Szia Molnár József! Tudok segíteni, magával a dobozzal nincs gond.
a forgalomba helyezés), akkor tudok többet segíteni a dologban. Üdv, Ádám
