I thought peugeot heater works by blowing air through a radiator in the dashboard?

Just curious, please advise if we could use the multimeter instead of the bulb to test?
My one works but screeches, so may be its a blower motor bearing, would you say that I need to replace blower motor,BTW its 3008 2012 model.
