Howdy, Scotty! Mario, 25 y.o., from San Antonio, Tx here 🙂 I just bought a new 2020 Kia Soul LX (base) with manual transmission. After a stressful month of used car shopping, I decided to get a new car with lifetime (powertrain) warranty & roadside assistance. I wanted a stick-shift vehicle that I can stick my dogs and boogie board in. Every used car I saw/wanted was gonna require $$$ before driving w/out worries. Instead, I walked out of the dealership with a vehicle w/ 33 miles on it for $18k, no payments! With the money I saved on the original deal, I bought OEM rubber floor mats, their sun visor, and "sport" side window deflectors. (might have overpaid on those, but things were easier this way, less "what-ifs") I love your channel, Scotty! Anytime I have a random thought about cars, I just search "Scotty Kilmer…yadayada". What do you think about Kia/Hyundai manual transmissions? This new generation of Soul (even base model) has an engine upgrade and longer wheelbase. What do you think of my new ride?! Do you have any tips on how to KEEP a new vehicle looking/running NEW?! Thanks, man!
