Yeah I agree. I just replaced a CV boot with a Quick Boot kit, that comes
in two pieces. If I didn’t thoroughly clean the CV joint out then the
little piece of boot that caused it to bust would have remained inside the
bearing area, thus causing issues and CV replacement.
Is it available here in the Philippines? Seems all auto supply shops I went
to are clueless about this product. I would really want to stock up on it
for future use.
This works good, but I would def remove the old boot first, thoroughly
clean the axle and area VERY WELL. Then install the new boot on the shaft,
glue, and let it cure for a good half hour. Then finishing installing on
vehicle

this looks a far superior product to any other split cv boot on the market-
however- why, when the promotional video is in english can I not find any
uk supplier on the hippo red website??? worse still, I have emailed hippo
red via their website contact form TWICE and been ignored BOTH times, is
this a case of bad office staff or anti english attitudes perhaps?
